Hello, and welcome to Scuba Mucho! In this website, we will discuss everything scuba diving: from learning how to get certified as a beginner scuba diver and picking the right scubing diving gear, scuba travel and finding the best scuba liveaboards.
My own scuba journey, began in 1997, when my wife and I did a Discovery Scuba Dive (also called a Try Dive) on our honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico. At that time we thought that we would like to get scuba certified one day soon.
However, life got in the way. Between job changes, long-distance moves, and children, before I knew it about 20 years had passed. I actually finally decided to get my scuba diving certification at the urging of my son, who also wanted to get certified. So the two of us got our PADI Open Water scuba certification together in Cozumel, and since that time he and I have been dive buddies and have been scuba diving a number of places around the world.
